Beak formed in early 2001. It's 3 members collaborated Beak after ten years in the Gold Coast music scene playing in other bands. After developing a strong following in Qld and northern NSW, they released a demo ep called open hand slap and a second ep titled ear captains and now a third called remote control cheese, all of which were received with open arms by music retailers and live audiences. After winning the battle of the bands, beak then went on to perform live with, Killing Hiedi, Magic dirt, Skunkhour, george and Nick barker to name a few. Our strong melodic sound and tight live performances provides a tasteful experience that keeps the punters hungry for more. Big beats, big guitars and melodic harmonies serve to be a catchy and commercially viable product.
