Born in 2003 Sydney band Beautiful World's music is to be taken in context of that same concept - A Beautiful World. These are intricate, dynamic and exciting recordings, capturing the imagination with secrets and dreams of the listener. The first thing confronting the you is a sense of musical "presence". The lyrics are quite often a mirror of the darkness that we all accompany through life, but the atmosphere and the warmth of the recordings provide a lovely warm space for the listener to curl up in. This stuff has great dimension. The sound is filled in by Scott Meikle on Bass and Rohan Geddes on Drums, and recently welcomed the multi-talented Michael Bridges on 4 and 6 string duties, thus adding a rich new pallete of colour-sounds. The band have recently been recording with the wonderful Tim Powles of The Venetians fame (he also does the bashing in an obscure band called The Church..) and also Jason Blackwell.
