beck baker came together after the chemistry of four lads pulled them to the music scene, with a handful of tunes that pay homage to the indie heavyweights of today. This indie/alternative four piece have carefully crafted their sound out of their garages childhood and continues to be refined. Brothers Jarrod and Lawson Reedie, bassist Zac Gomes and drummer Ethan Seidel hail from the south west suburbs of Sydney and have built a name for themselves on a local scene becoming ‘hometown heroes’ playing to a local audience for a number of years through previous acts. Their unique, alternative sound is about to be heard by all in form of a debut single, ‘Ask Her Twice’ released on October 19. Followed by a run of shows in and around Sydney, the first time these tracks will be heard on a live stage. beck baker draws from influences from Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Strokes and Lime Cordiale. This is only just the beginning of a unique sound, fresh image and new era…. let’s have it.
