Brisbane based five-piece outfit Beckon the Dead are a self-proclaimed Slam Metal band who have fast become masters of their art. After forming at the start of 2012, Beckon The Dead began playing shows around the local Brisbane area, including headline positions at Brisbane’s popular metal venue, Crowbar. Keen to get their music into the Australian market, Beckon The Dead entered the studio with Andy Marsh of Thy Art is Murder in April, 2012 to begin recording their debut E.P, set for release late February, 2013. Steven Draven (vocalist), Peter Richardson (guitar), Luke Taylor (guitar), Jarred Joinbee (drums) and Chris Vowels (bass) are set to tour Australia and the US throughout 2013 following the release of the film clip for their debut single, Harbinger of Death.
