Hailing from the Northside of Brisbane, Beckon was founded back in 2004 when 4 like minded friends/musicians teamed up to start an originals band that was their own music yet could be enjoyed from a vast audience. After writing a few songs, Beckon looked for a vocalist that would fill the slot. In late 2005 after a lengthy search, they found someone that had the sound they were searching for. A departure from the rhythm guitarist early 2006 to travel overseas was quickly filled. Being described as similar to The Butterfly Effect, Beckon's music ranges from Soft Rock to borderline Metal. Having Recorded 14 songs and another 4 written Beckon are awaiting another trip to the studio to display the new progression in their music. With a fan base getting larger and larger, the more their music gets heard the more positive feedback they receive. With large goals set, Beckon become stronger everytime a venue wishes to call them up to entertain all.
