BIOGRAPHY Before the Uprise formed in late 2004 as a 4 piece Covers Band. A change in early 2005 introduced Bassist and back up vocalist Aaron Pickersgill to the the already established line-up of Matthew Page, Tristan Scott & Christian Matheson. From their meek beginnings, Before the Uprise soon began experimenting musically to establish a unique sound that set them apart from the norm. Through a constant flow of gigs throughout Queensland, Before the Uprise built up a reputation as one of Townsvilles leading alternative acts. It was this willingness to tour that scored BTU support acts with some of Australia's finest upcoming bands such as Japunga and The Amity Affliction. 2006 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Before the Uprise as they seek to confirm themselves as one of Queenslands finest groups. Keep your eyes peeled for a Debut recording by Before the Uprise in '06. Before The Uprise Are: Mathew Page - vocals Tristan Scott - drums Aaron Pickersgill - bass/vocals
