Beki Colada…the long story short is: If you are Australian, you may remember Beki from chart topping 90’s band THE MAVIS’S. She was the big eyed, pink pig tailed joint lead singer alongside her brother Matt Thomas (Matt Doll). The Mavis’s split early 2000’s and reformed in 2018 for an amazing national tour and have future adventures ahead! After The Mavis’s split, Beki had numerous musical projects: Beki & The Bullets (with Nik Daniel from The Mavis’s) The Fascinated (current synth pop duo with LA composer/producer Lionel Cohen) Beki also has a tropical pop duo ‘Mojito Colada’ with her boyfriend - they had a hit in El Salvador 2018 with the song (which is in Spanish & English) ‘Besamucho’. Since 2008 Beki has lived in the USA. NYC to LA to Miami Beach and currently in Nashville, TN. This song ‘Stay With Me’ was supposed to be used in a Hollywood movie but the movie was never released! Beki loves the song so much that she is releasing it independently. Co- written with two of her closest friends Nik Daniel and Leonie Lee and produced, recorded and mixed by the amazing producer Andy Baldwin (Haerts, St. Lucia, Foster The People - to name a few) Recorded in Nashville and mixed in NYC. Beki is excited to share this song with the World finally!! Lyric video by Beki captures the essence of the song perfectly. `
