Recently returning to Queensland’s south-east corner after having called Cairns, FNQ home for the last 30+ years, Belinda’s life experiences & career in the arts and communications world informed her later-in-life change to music making. A hobby of gigging with friends over the years led to a growing interest in songwriting, and to the formalising of that with dedicated study through Berklee in Boston, USA (online). Feeling inspired to create a greater body of work for the times we’re living in, Belinda wrote ”ELUCIDATION”, an original, high vibe, new-age music show - part storytelling, part song, part audience participation, and all performed around a (faux) campfire. Having performed to a run of SOLD OUT shows and great review, she has now recorded those songs, with her debut EP & second single, “Power”, released Friday 8th July, 2022. “Elucidation takes listeners on a hero’s journey and introduces them to a rising star” “Griffin herself is an absolute ray of sunshine” -Tristan Neimi, Anywhere Festival 2021
