Ben & Charlie began in a small village in the north of Fiji, called Korovou, near Tavua. Ben and Charlie were living in a little house in the back of the village, and were building a bridge for the local kindergarten children, so that they could get to the school house without having to go through the river (which could be dangerous in the wet season). Due to working days lasting approximately 1-2 hours, because of the sun, rain, rugby etc, a lot of free time was had. Stories were told while resting in the shade, and from these stories came songs. With nothing but a small notebook, a guitar they found (which could not be tuned), and a waterproof camera, they began to record these songs. They sang about the sun, life in the village, love back in Australia, and even the feeling of heatstroke combined with the fumes of tropical strength mosquito repellent. So let yourself drift away with Ben & Charlie to a place where time is not measured, and everything can be put off till tomorrow.
