Ben Gel has been a mainstay of Adelaide, Australia’s punk and rock underground for two-and-a-half decades. Co-founding The Gels in 1996, other notables include Meatbeaters, Perdition, and most recently, Cull - the Band. Wearing a proud pedigree firmly rooted in foot-stomping punk and Aussie ‘beer barn’ rock, his songs reflect his experiences and the world as he sees it. Around 1000 gigs Australia wide, he will quote his favourites as sharing stages with Rose Tattoo, Mudhoney, TSOL, Datsuns, Celibate Rifles, Melvins, Members, GBH, Magic Dirt, Ruts, Bodyjar and CJ Ramone. His recorded history has not less than ten full-length albums and approaching 20 EPs and singles.
