Ben McMaster is a 24 year old singer/songwriter. Originally from Perth, a family adventure had them settle on Queensland ’s Sunshine Coast. His first taste of being in the spotlight came when he was bitten by the acting bug while at high school. Then while enrolled in a performing arts course, Ben discovered a talent for song writing and so began another journey. Now armed with a keyboard, Ben began writing more and more songs. Then in 2005 he began to get really serious and took singing and guitar lessons. A move to Melbourne, a demo recorded in a backyard studio with some airplay on community radio and soon Ben’s music was getting noticed. In a case of “it’s not what you know but who you know”, Ben’s demo came to the attention of Sam Panetta via one of the members of Kisschasy. Now Ben is one of Sam ’s Artists in Development where the two continue to work on songs and gather further music industry interest.
