Ben Winch is the rock theoretician behind theoretical rockstar W. COQ. As CEO of Cottage Industry Recordings he released 12 albums and never sold a copy. As a young adult writer of young adult fiction he became the youngest ever recipient of an Australia Council fellowship for literature, then disappeared to Tasmania to write the pulp triptych Vanishing Points and wasn’t heard of again for twenty years. As Light Traveller he records atmospheric post-postpunk, as Shadow History his unreleased greatest hits. With poet/percussionist Tim Sinclair he is Brothers of the Head. He also blogs, reviews books and music, and writes first drafts of stories.
