I grew up in Adelaide. I started playing guitar at the age of 10, and grew up playing in garage bands, mostly enjoying the feeling of the improvised jam. Through the teens and into the early 20's I enjoyed playing in many different bands but nothing that clicked enough to warrant any serious energy apart from the pure fun of practice. Styles included thrash, metal, indie and pop. At 24 I moved to Melbourne to study Audio Engineering, mostly in an effort to meet more musos and understand the industry better. I thoroughly enjoyed the year, during which I played in a band (initiated by myself and the now guitarist from Damn Arms). This band was the most serious and most enjoyable of all to date, but dwindled due to members relocating. After moving back to Adelaide, I joined forces with a local rootsy artist by the name of johnwoods (not the actor-check out his site!!) accompanying with creative guitar lines and harmonies. We enjoyed some great gigs including a support for Ash Grunwald
