Benjamin Trillado is a queer Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter from Naarm )Melbourne) who writes songs for anyone who’s ever cried on public transport or made a major life decision based on a gut feeling and a tarot reading. His music blends heartfelt storytelling with lyrics that make you go, “Ouch… but also, same.” Raised in the western suburbs (shoutout to Sunshine Plaza), Benjamin’s love for music started with a flyer for guitar lessons in primary school—and hasn’t let up since. From local cafés to Melbourne’s most iconic stages, he’s shared lineups with Australian music royalty like Boy & Bear, Sarah Blasko, Ben Abraham and The Dreggs.
