How can you be a Ghetto Hippie? Benny Levels explains this in his raw, energetic and personal debut album. The concept for the ‘Ghetto Hippie’ reflects the 2 very different life journeys that he has been through. The Ghetto side shows the dark stories from his life experiences and the Hippie side shows the light, fun loving person he has become. Recorded in his home studio (Roach City Records) and features South Australian artists you’ll be taken on his journey of self-reflection and personal growth. The 4 elements of hip hop have run through Benny Levels veins since he was captivated as a young boy by the early hip hop masterminds of KRS-One and NWA. He has the old school story telling rhymes and his party nature makes it easy to get hooked. In 2017 he co-founded Roach City Records. The hub for local artists and mates to come together and create something unique. He is a self- musician, audio engineer, videographer, promoter and producer for himself and the Roach City Crew.
