One of the hardest working artists in the nation, Benny Mayhem and his band tour relentlessly from their home base in Perth, Western Australia. Their new album ‘Bootlegs’ has a powerful mainstream rock sound that shows off their roots in grunge, punk, and alternative rock, plus Benny Mayhem’s trademark acoustic sound. Benny Mayhem was the frontman of multi-WAMI Award winning punk rock band Project Mayhem. His new band has clocked over 400,000km on the road and their Save The Koalas Tour has raised $50,000 for injured Australian wildlife rehabilitation. ‘Bootlegs’ takes an all-killer no-filler approach with 15 instantly memorable tracks blending many styles to create a rock sound packed with tight pop harmonies, grunge grooves, and punk rock punch. Touring nationally in support of the new album, the Benny Mayhem Band includes 20 year old drummer Sage Phillips, who is an absolute weapon, and charismatic bass player Luke Clifton, and Benny Mayhem on both electric and acoustic guitars.
