Originally formed in 2018 as a result of some serious procrastination, Beta Males was formed by Tom and Ryan in a cold, damp house in O'Connor, Canberra. After Tom's 12 month spell living in Townsville through 2019 and Sean's inclusion into the band while each member was finding themselves together in Thailand, Beta Males came together as a trio of three mates having a bit of fun through their mutual love of similar music. The boys combined in spiritual and musical harmony to create the sharp, catchy and very simple hooks and riffs proudly demonstrated in their fun-loving style of DIY punk. Having played to the glowing reviews of friends in the backyards of their houses, Beta Males recorded their debut single 'Pissed Off (Asbestos)' in Sean's house in Sydney in early 2020, with plans to get themselves onto the scene and release more music in the near future.
