Beyond These Fields is a musical collaboration between Melbourne based instrumentalist, music producer and sound designer Dan West and drummer Rory McDougall that dynamically morphs between esoteric analog ambience and instrumental synth rock party jams for the apocalypse. Although we are probably best known for our work in hard hitting instrumental groups The Putbacks and Cookin’ On 3 Burners, we enjoy going rogue to create the dark and beat driven synthscapes of Beyond These Fields and draw on our love of live interplay between people and the subtle parameter morphing of old analogue machines.
