Big Girls Blouse is the most recent up-and-coming band at Castlerock. Starting at the age of 13 at Castlerock's Rockschool Program, and play an exciting brand of fast-paced alternative rock. The band learnt basic songwriting skills at Rockschool and were all given private lessons on their instruments. The band started performing small slots at local festivals and started to gain live experience. By the time they were 15, they had a full set of songs, and started performing regularly at Castlerock's Underage Nightclub. At this point, Paul & Tzudy Weir started to see a lot of potential in the growing band, and started fully funding them in 2009, further coaching them to refine their songwriting and performance skills, as well as helping some of the band with their own personal struggles. -Hailing from Rockingham, Big Girl's Blouse have been together for 3 years, previously known as The Black Parade, playing their own version of Alternative Rock, but absolutely their own style, yet
