Noted for his skill as a blues shouter and raconteur, Big Rude Jake (Hiebert) was especially drawn to the roots of American music. You’ll hear blues, jazz, rockabilly, jump, gospel, folk & fingerpicking ragtime guitar. His evocative lyrics were inspired by powerhouse songwriters like Tom Waits, Jacques Brel & Berthold Brecht. Sharp wit, a touch of cabaret and a punk attitude = Big Rude Jake.
