Bigger Than Sixteen formed in early 2008. The members all met in high school (Tatachilla Lutheran College). Since the very start all the members found a common passion for music, but more importantly the way music impacts its listeners. Since then Bigger Than Sixteen have tied their passion in with their common love for the upbeat exciting punk/rock sound and soon found themselves writing songs confronting and questioning social issues and common, what they believe are, misconceptions. Over time Bigger Than Sixteen have been able to refine this broad passion, they strive to inspire teenagers inparticularly to achieve goals bigger then the limitations given to them by parents, school teachers, friends, and society in general. Bigger Than Sixteen writes the lyrics with the purpose of never bringing listeners down, but instead lifting them up. Their music has been developing and evolving from the very start.
