Bindhu is an original artist hailing from Perth, Western Australia. Bindhu’s music can be described as ambient, lyric driven pop with influences of soul and RnB. Bindhu’s smooth, soulful and powerful voice turns heads everywhere she performs, and she is often likened to vocalists such as Beyonce and Alicia Keys. With influences ranging from London Grammar, Florence and the Machine, Sia and Emile Sande, Bindhu’s soaring vocals capture the attention of every listener. The focal point of Bindhu’s style however is her lyrics, which are crafted from personal experience, yet which still allow for the listener to interpret her songs in many ways. Bindhu has performed in many different bands, and as a solo artist in Perth for the last ten years. After honing her skills in the cover scene, she has now released her first single, ‘Dirt’.
