Formed in mid 2016, Biome’s intention is to create something pure, organic and original that thrives on the absurd. With a diverse range of influences and inspirations from all walks of life, the sound mainly encompasses the stripped down raw power of grindcore with elements of sludge, doom, death and more unusual genres such as jazz, reggae and funk to add a touch of avant-garde. After releasing our self titled EP in December 2017, we have played numerous local and interstate shows including Heavy SA 2018 and Blacken Open Air Festival 2019 near Alice Springs, NT. We plan to record our second EP at the end of the year and and tour. The Power of the Riff compels you!
