Francis & Marin first meet at school in year 8 ... they were both 13 years old ... Marin had just left a public school in order to attend a very violent, non religious, all boys catholic school. On his first day of school he got 4 cuts of the strap from Mr Pick , who always gave you the choice of taking it on the ass or on the palm of the hand? By the time they had reached year 10 Francis introduced Marin to surfing on a cool winter's day in Wollongong. After year 10 Francis left school & lost his way playing music and creating as much noise as possible while Marin continued his education going on to Uni & eventually serving time in a dramatic arts program in Western Australia. After causing as much trouble as possible & almost being expelled twice Marin graduated & headed back to Sydney where his life slowly took a steady decline until finally he was at rock bottom.
