Birdwing Butterfly is a project by Sydney based producer Clint Avery who creates Psychedelic music for the heart and mind that has been described as sounding like a cross between early Pink Floyd and The Chemical Brothers jamming with Spacemen 3 in an open field at sunrise. Birdwing’s music incorporates both organic and electronic sounds and samples recorded out in nature and in the city as well as from his travels around the world and is an outlet for the exploration of inner & outta space, psychedelic soundscapes, Hypnotic Rhythms, Beautiful Noise & Symphonic Feedback from the farthest reaches of the sonic cosmos................. Or something like that. ‘It’s just me and any like minded souls I can find experimenting with the endless possibilities of sound’. Birdwing's independently produced debut album ‘First Rays of Sunlight’ was recorded in his home studio in Sydney. Just over half of this album and two other songs that didn’t make the album were recorded in one manic 14hour
