Amongst a sea of clones, emos and faux-indie wannabes emerges Black Acid Flashbacks, a band who is as mysterious as they are in your face. Not just another Sydney rock band, this quintet draws their inspiration from rock and roll heavyweights such as Motorhead, Metallica and Iron Maiden. However, just as these boys have one foot embedded in rock & metal they are equally influenced by punk. Possessing groove laden rhythms, scorching guitar solos, contrasting vocals of a punk-esque genre, with an overall undertow of heavy metal; It is this fusion of influences that creates the earth-shaking and downright addictive sound of Black Acid Flashbacks.
