Born through the transmutation of undefined emotion into tangible song, Black Dog Cat Band started as a solo act and quickly grew into the six piece heard today. Unconventional drum beats meld with bass hooks while angelic vocal harmonies, lead licks, piano, and ethereal slide adorn the unhewn guitar driven songs to create a unique sound described as “Gum Leaf Rock”, also the title of their debut album to be released late 2021.
