Hello, we are Black Ghost Party. Born late 2004, we found ourselves frequenting any local jam night we could get to (Lismore, Byron, Bangalow…) After about 3 months we played our first gig at The Gollan Hotel in Lismore supporting local 2003 Uni Band Comp winners ‘Reverse World’. Since then, the band have played at the Tatts in Lismore supporting ‘Hot Muffin’, The Alley Bar in Brisbane supporting ‘The Black Arts’ on a couple of occasions, headlined at ‘The Winsome Hotel’ with ‘Aroha’ and also at The Tatts (with Dougal Binns & Zombie Down supporting). So, y’ know, we’re keen to play…..NOW! With enthusiastic help from 2 chopper boys, Mr Matt Cassells (bass, sarcasam, beleif structures, organisational skills, mood swings) and Adam Buttons (drums, spirit, lucky charms, dick jokes) the Black ghost party has been gigging the North Coast and brisbane as a 3 piece, with two different stlye shows an acoustic folk monkey set and a rock-a-thon rocking electric set.
