Melodic Rock band from Melbourne, formed in 2017 Black Knight Satellite is characterised as alt rock music drawing on progressive and alternative metal influences. Beginning as a solo project of guitarist Jesse King, Black Knight Satellite attracted other musicians and is now a fully fleshed out, five piece rock act. After joining forces with longtime friend and collaborator, bassist Richi Spencer, and recruiting the heavy hitting Ryan Bradbury to batter the kit, the line up was finally completed with the addition of Chris Gorsuch belting out his strapping and heady vocals. Black Knight Satellite is a melodic rock band that allows itself a sprinkling of metal elements, whilst vocalist Gorsuch sings passionately about the universal truths of loss, rage, elation and belonging. After some time spent honing their sound in rehearsal and the inclusion of a second guitarist Black Knight Satellite are set to unleash their stygian roar on Melbourne’s music scene.
