THE BLACKOUT, young, enthusiastic and individual. Together for only a year, a fushion between two former Melbourne bands. With influences varying from Queens of The Stone Age to The Beatles and beyond, they create a blend of hard rock and classic pop, which makes up their unique sound. THE BLACKOUT are fast gaining a reputation in both Melbourne and the coast, having supported such luminaries as The Living End, The Spazzys, Hoodoo Gurus, The Androids, The Casanovas, The Go-Set, and (Nathan Cavaleris) Dirty Skanks, on their tours. THE BLACKOUT sound is energetic, edgy, with an electrifying stage act. THE BLACKOUT ARE IN! SO DON'T MISS OUT!

We started as 11 year olds, forming a school band playing at school events and local community fundraisers. In our teens we started performing at local events and entering band competitions playing a mixture of cover songs and our own original music.
