Blademasters is a Melbourne instrumental project formed by Patrick Ryan of Cantrips and Lachlan Stuckey of Surprise Chef. Drawing on the bold cinematic jazz of the late 1960s and 1970s, the group pairs delicate acoustic guitar arrangements with dramatic rhythm-section movements. Recorded live in the Dune Castle Throne Room, their music moves between charged stillness, heavy rhythm and widescreen instrumental drama.
