Blake is a Singer-Songwriter combining lush acoustic melodies, with lyrics that remind people of a time when they stood atop the world and nothing was impossible. Blake has been writing his own music for several years and he draws the inspiration for his music from his social life and the experiences that have defined him growing up in Sydney Australia. Being a fan of storytelling, Blake’s debut singles “When We Were High” & “Summer on High” explore the themes of love and heartbreak. Blending Indie elements with vocals heavily influenced by modern rap and pop styles, Blake’s songs focus on having a good time, and the emotions intertwined with these experiences. This is what Blake aims for with his song writing; the high we all crave from that someone, something and somewhere. You can find Blake in the studio creating new music, or gigging around Brisbane, giving a little acoustic flavour back to the world.
