Intrigued and fascinated by music & visual arts from a very early age, Bruce began developing his skills in both mediums through the inspiration he found in the movies, television and documentaries from his childhood. His attention to detail and visual talents were the first to come to the fore through his artworks in his early schooling years. This visual perception was then deepened and heightened through his intermediate school years via film, drama & theatre. Although deeply inspired musically while nurturing his visual arts, his growth in music performance only became evident in his teenage years where he initially studied drums & percussion. Upon the completion of his secondary schooling, staging and ‘roadie’ work further enabled him to discover himself as a musical artist also. Extensive collaborations with a wide range of musicians followed in the ensuing years resulting in a variety of band projects and recordings where he was predominantly a drummer & percussionist.
