Tomorrow, the new single from Gold Coast indie genre jumpers BLIGH, is sonic dynamite. Presenting listeners with huge distorted vocals, a driving baseline, hard hitting drums and layered analogue synths Tomorrow is BLIGH set to stun. Produced by Blake Malone (known for his work with Wharves, Peach Fur and Amy Shark), Tomorrow is the second single from BLIGH’s new EP ‘Tatters Of A Well Dreamed Life,’ an EP about the increasing inaccessibility of the lifestyle enjoyed by the working classes in the past. Tomorrow is about living in hope that we might, leave our jobs and pursue our passions, afford to live where we grew up, keep our sense of childish wonder and the unlikely outcomes on which we pin these hopes. The BLIGH machine is cranking back up to celebrate the release of the new single. Proceeding a brief period of pandemic-forced inactivity, BLIGH were known for musical maximalism both in the local music scene, where they had sold out multiple shows at a variety of venues.
