Blind Uncle Harry is an Australian-American singer songwriter based, at least temporarily, in Bloomington, Indiana, USA where in winter it is cold beyond human comprehension. Often appearing as a ten or more person collective, the Blind Uncle Harry band features didjeridoo, dobro, trumpet, banjo, mandolin, accordion, djembe, harmonica, keyboards, electric and at times multiple acoustic guitars. They have been defined as a bluegrass, country alt, rock, folk, and or ultimate party band, depending on what performance you happen to catch. Whether headlining at Bloomington's fabled Bluebird, or playing at the Rocktober Festival in Hippie Hill Tennessee or the delirious exuberance of a Bloomington house show, one thing is definite: it's gonna be a show, for sure.
