"We don't play covers, we always put out on stage, and we defy anyone to slide us into a convenient pigeonhole. "Okay, so you could call us rock - but not soft rock, or rock n' roll, or garage rock... a Blood Red Renaissance show is not a display of painstakingly coiffured bed hair, fashionably ratty clothes or simplistic neo-retro riffs. It is a place of flailing hair, sweaty guitars, molested keyboards and drums that feel like a beating. It is permissive, transgressive art. It is a ceremonial indulgence in the carnal beauty of loud fucking music. "We write our own songs and they don't sound like other bands. This is the beginning of the new Renaissance - a spreading of minds and hearts, a dawning of a brighter sun... a Blood Red Renaissance. TASTE THE NEW BLOOD."
