A band for the fiercely self-believing, the restless parents, the punx who refuse to retire quietly; Blood Thinners make powerful music about adulthood’s darker corners. Formed on Cadigal land, Blood Thinners is a post-punk/indie rock band, with jangling guitars and driving rhythms playing host to unapologetic lyrics and a whole lot of pent-up rage. Their songs tackle payback, matrescence and regrettable bloodlines, delivered with a blend of sharp hooks and moodier, The Cure-inspired moments. Recorded with Frenzal Rhomb’s Jay Whalley, their double A-side debut release "No Patience" / "Undergrowth" introduces a band already carving out their own lane.
