Starting in Bogan Ville (where parents are predominantly brother and sister) Stu and Rod began rehearsing as a Gary Glitter cover band. After months of debate over who would be Gary they decided to start a Punk Rock band instead. After the first drummer divorced his mum and married his sister they thought it best to move to Sydney and try to establish a name for themselves there. Upon arrival they met Macca. Having previously played the drummer boy in several Christmas Pageants they thought him ideal for the band, and so it began. After a couple of hours rehearsing, a visit to AA and a group hug they were ready to hit the Sydney venues. 2 years on they have played numerous gigs and are about to release their 3rd independent CD. The BET boys have worked hard to establish a name for themselves within the aussie music scene through their hard hittin live show and will continue to tear up stages across the country, so if you haven't seen them already be sure to check em out 2X
