Bluetide is a 5 piece band from NSW, Australia. Their sound began to form in June 2018 where each member's personal influences combined to form their instrument driven sound, led by enormous signature vocal performances. The band collects Newcastle based youngsters: Paris Grace (vocals), Oliver Phelan (guitar), Talon Candian (guitar), Thomas Wellings (bass), and Travis Richmond (drums). Important influences for the band and their members include The Smashing Pumpkins, London Grammar, Ocean Alley, Pearl Jam, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Following the 2019 release of their debut single “Like It on This Side”, Bluetide have just released an EP titled “Passing Time”, which powerfully summarises their sound.
