Fuelled by a love of 90’s alternative, contemporary electronic and 60’s psychedelic. Brisbane’s Bodywire discovered promise within their effects laden, ethereal and sweetly youthful sound. Quickly establishing notoriety as being not only one of the youngest, but one of the most original sounds in the Brisbane live music scene. The band has held a steady series of live dates and an ever increasing fan base as their music spreads from ear to ear. The band delighted crowds in Nov 2010 with a support show with Arizona’s Lydia on their farewell tour and more recently making the semi finals at Rics Exposed shows. Originally conceived in early 2008, when school friends Alex Pekin and Chris Mann merged their jam project with that of their friends, brothers Duncan and James Galloway. Bodywire have defined a sound with devotion and discipline, combined with a love of similar musical styles. A sound that’s ready to be heard across Australia. Contact: info@bodywire.com.au
