Following a two-year hiatus fronting Sydney indie-rock outfit False London, supporting Pacific Avenue on their Give It Up For Yourself tour and globetrotting from India to Geneva for his other budding career as an international lawyer, boleyn’s new era showcases the sonic evolution of Australia’s most enigmatic crooner. Handpicked by Troye Sivan to collaborate alongside Tim Nelson (Cub Sport), Leland (MUNA), and Lucy Blomkamp (6lack, Mallrat), boleyn is part of the first ever all-queer APRA AMCOS's Songhubs class of 2023. Wielding tender lyricism like a teary-eyed switchblade, boleyn's potent combo of vocal prowess and introspective lyricism evokes the likes of the 1975, Prince and the omnipresent Taylor Swift.
