Boorook is a Kerray Wooroong man blending conscious lyricism, healing frequencies and cinematic production. His music bridges hip hop, melodic rap and atmospheric soundscapes, grounded in Country and culture. Tracks like “Fight For Your Rights” channel protest and empowerment, while “Raise the Age” (with rising rappers Yuji and Tuurann) and “No More War” (feat. Jamaican sensations Ibar and Phabian) reflect his commitment to social justice, unity and positive change. A producer as much as a performer, Boorook creates immersive soundscapes that move beyond labels — rooted in culture while reaching universally. His work speaks to resilience, empowerment and creative sovereignty. His considerable body of work has taken root in ways that might not be immediately evident, in a world that is too often driven by commercial considerations. Closer inspection will reveal the true significance of this important Australian artist.
