Brad Maiden was the singer/songwriter in local Sydney band The Ross Orbit Stack. Their song "Trouble" from their self-titled ep went onto high rotation on Triple J in 2004 and also featured on Home and Hosed Volume 2. After the demise of the Stack in late 2005 Brad went into Free Energy Device studios in Sydney and recorded his debut album, "Old Wasted Souls". Friends dropped in to play on the album and cult producer Richard Belkner (Triosk) and Brendan Woithe committed the album lovingly to tape. Frustrated with the limitations of a rock music Brad had an anything goes policy which involved using pianos, saxophones, distorted vocals and even smashing bottles against garage doors to make snare drum sounds! After a sold out album launch at Bar Me in December 2006 and airplay on XFM in Manchester and Fbi in Sydney Brad is looking at doing some more shows in 2007 and has just completed tracking his sophomore album "South Of The Border" which will be released late in 2007.
