Music for life. Life from music. Barrister turned DJ and music producer. brændt’s passion for music was born out of the grunge, 90’s alternative scene. The music resonated with him and drove a lifelong obsession. His musical influences evolved from a keen interest in technology and sound design. Electronic, tech music and dj’ing was the logical progression. For a long time playing and writing music was “just a hobby”, not a “day job”; and a form of expression through art incubated through undiagnosed bipolar disorder. Realising the positive effect of music and expression through art on his mental health, combined with a growing discontent and seeking a meaningful alternative to his career in law, brændt made the life changing decision to follow his passion for music. The “hobby” then became the “day job”.
