Bree Tranter first came to prominence as a vocalist, flutist, and keyboardist for the acclaimed indie/folk band The Middle East, who rose to fame before disbanding in 2011. In 2024, the band reunited to support Zach Bryan’s Quittin Time Tour, including a special return to the Sydney Opera House for Spunk Records’ farewell concert. Between chapters with The Middle East, Bree carved out a successful solo and session career. Signing with Gaga Publishing, she released her debut solo album Another Night On Earth in 2016, a striking blend of electronic textures and live band arrangements. As a sought-after session musician, Bree has collaborated with Zach Bryan, Passenger, Thelma Plum, Matt Corby (with whom she toured full time with for eight years), and Timberwolf. In 2023, she co-founded the duo Siberian Tiger. Bree celebrates the 10th anniversary of her breakthrough single Tuesday Fresh Cuts (6million stream)—with a brand-new remix by longtime friend Matt Corby.
