Four brothers caught between Melbourne's grind and Mt Macedon's majesty, Brother Johnstone are a musical beast hard to pin down. With rich and layered arrangements of dobro, cello, acoustic guitar bass, drums and soaring 4-part harmonies, Brother Johnstone entwine powerful storytelling with captivating instrumental journies, laid-back grooves with pumping acoustic rock, wide-abounding soundscapes with stompin'-funkin' rootsy blues. Since forming in Woodend in 2009, Brother Johnstone have garnered strong support from both city and country audiences alike with their sensationally raw, tight and original live shows.
