Bryn has worked as a professional DJ since 1994, Miles has been producing original music since 1997. The Tilly brothers began collaborating in 2002 with a shared love of electronic music, funk, and New Wave. Over six years, under the moniker Jaywalkers, they produced three demo CD albums worth of sample-based music which were distributed amongst friends. In 2008 Bryn and Miles were forced to change their moniker. They also changed their attitude. Jaywalkers became Funkinsense. Over the next four years they produced two demo CD EPs of original music before deciding to change their moniker once more. Brüder was created in early 2012. A new direction and a fresh attitude. The word means “brothers” and is a reference to their German heritage. This new moniker serves as a platform for the two brothers to compose and produce original, contemporary, and highly atmospheric music that can be appreciated by an international audience.
