Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Buffalo Wolf has honed a sound that captures a fair slice of its inspiration from America’s great folk rock traditions. From Neil Young’s loose grunge to Bon Iver’s haunting choral sonics, Buffalo Wolf has taken on a feel and aesthetic that is closer to American heartland than Australian urban. Buffalo Wolf emerged from the aural ashes of Sydney band The Wild Frontier, with bandmates Leo Spencer and Dave Mackie pooling their musical resources with Luke Collings, of Mem Davis and The Kindred Spirits, and talented singer-songwriter, Ollie Brown.
