Burjon's music covers ground from jaunty indie pop to heavy prog inspired psych. Their recent exploration into the musical ideas behind acoustic folk and the 60's recording industry have inspired their most recent releases. Their live music draws on a range of styles and eras. Their leading single 'Today drives home a clear 80's indie and 90's alt sound, while 'See You/Inner Mind' is an acoustic folk song with psych elements throughout. Following the release of 'Today' and 'Seasons', Burjon embarked on an interstate Road Trip to bring Melbourne and Canberra a little taste of the growing Adelaide indie/psych scene. In April '20 Burjon dropped 'See You/Inner Mind', a six-and-a-half minute ballad about memories, relationships and a yearning for the feeling of coming home after a long journey. Their recent release 'Tangerine View' was recorded as a reel-to-reel demo but has quickly become one of the band's favourite recordings.
