Edit history

Bushing is an apocalyptic art-punk / doom pop / christian rock (semi-joking) band formed in Sydney pre-virus. Made from some members and loved ones of Beast & Flood, the band is now four members strong (spread across Sydney & Melbourne) and preparing for the release of their first album ‘Thanatophobia', their take on the psychedelic environment of the 21st century which is slated for release mid-2020. X I A N X P (pronounced "Christian Experience") takes the loud-SOFT-loud throwback and junks the contents of European expedition into it. It is a song about the limits we put on personal responsibility that ended in the "death of God" in the West. Before live music was suspended, Bushing developed alongside a scene of complimentary acts like Solid Effort, Cakewalk and Yes I'm Leaving. Outside of this, Bushing presents some sonic similarities to Fugazi, Animal Collective, Polvo and Modest Mouse.
